Hot off the press all the latest from our Gamescom 2024

Dear Gaming Enthusiasts and Proxima Community,
This week’s newsletter is a Gamescom 2024 special from our time in Cologne this week we have up to the minute updates to give you a flavour of our experience.

What's New at Proxima?

As forementioned, this week Proxima have been away at Gamescom 2024 to meet with some of our affiliates as well as making new connections and pitching the game to potential publishers all crammed into three eventful days.

Day one: Three big meetings on day one. A publisher, a marketing team (one for further down the line) and a company who could be very useful in developing the game. Day One is traditionally the quietest of the three days for developers at Gamescom and this proved to be the case again.

Day Two: A lot of meetings today, the main focus was support. We caught up with some of our affiliates including NVIDIA and they showcased some new tech that they’ve developed which would be a big help for our animation team. The feedback on the game has been all positive.

Day Three: Day three, more meetings and another company keen to assist our animators with state-of-the-art technology. We also met with several publishers and again the feedback was very encouraging, so fingers crossed. Overall, we’ve had a tiring but very productive Gamescom.
