Dear Gaming Enthusiasts and Proxima Community,
Where have we been? Well, in the trenches finishing the demo, it’s been a lot of effort but we believe it’s been a worthwhile endeavour, as we know in life nothing worth doing comes easy.
What's New at Proxima?
We’ve had our heads down putting the final flourishes on the demo that we’ve been developing for publishers and potential investors. If we can take a moment to be a little self-impressed, we can say the game is already looking and feeling quite special and we look forward to the feedback we get and hope to find interest. The demo takes place in an important setting from the Graphic Novel.
Unfortunately, due to personal and environmental reasons a key member of our visual team had to take a hiatus during the development. This was a big setback to us at Proxima and this individual’s skill in their department contributed massively to the speed we could create the demo at. We have also lost a key member of our writing team due to personal reasons so overall a difficult spell to create in.
We reached out to the publishers and potential investors who have shown an interest in our project and gratefully, they were happy to be patient with us as we got the demo right. This allowed us to knuckle down and create a build we were proud to share.
