PROXIMA PULSE 33

The latest Grand Opening/Grand Closing and the final flourishes to our demo.

Dear Gaming Enthusiasts and Proxima Community,

For the players looks at the short lifespan of Concord, the latest First Person Shooter to spin off the radar. We also fill you in about the progress of our demo build we’re developing for potential investors.

What's New at Proxima?

Fresh out the oven, we have another hot episode of For the Players ready to be added to the vault. In this episode Kyle and Harvey discuss the rapid rise and fall of Concord Sony’s FPS that was released and then withdrawn within 2 weeks. The game, which has no single player mode, was slated for success and then once released was slated online and now they have pulled it altogether. What do the guys make of this? What does it speak to the state of the industry? Find out in the most recent episode which you can watch below, or listen wherever you get your podcasts.

Within Proxima we have been applying the finishing touches to the Warship Jolly Roger playable demo which we hope to put in the hands of publishers and potential investors. With each rendition of the game, it looks more and more polished and we’re even astounding ourselves with how good it looking visually. We’ve given ourselves a fast-approaching deadline to work towards, but we feel the game will be in good shape come that cutoff date. It’s all hands-on deck, as we pull together to deliver the best example of the game we can create with the fast turn around. We hope it will be well received.
